About the design

For the walker who insists on checking the map… while standing right next to the signpost.

A hiker with his rucksack and walking pole studies his map with great concentration, while the fingerpost points the way just beside him and his dog sits patiently at its foot, clearly wondering what's taking so long. Around them, a stone cottage, grazing sheep, a dry-stone wall and stile, a trig pillar and a summit cairn, with jagged mountain peaks and pine forest behind and the whole scene reflected in the still mountain lake below. The design wraps all the way round the mug in black and soft greys, with their name in the sky above: "[Name]'s Hiking Mug".
